NEWS PLEIN AIR REPORT: The TSAA Plein Air Artists met at Hatchers Green-house in South Point last Thursday Oct 25 for a morning of painting and lunch afterward at Casa Grande. We had 6 artists come to paint with gouache, oil and watercolor. It was a beautiful sunny, but chilly day! Diane Springer showed us pictures and told us about her trip to Abington, VA as a participant in a national plein air event. She even sold one of the paintings she completed as part of the event.

As we are moving into the busy holiday season, we decided that this was our last plein air event for 2025. We will start back up in early 2026. Leigh McDonald is going to be busy working on the 2026 TSAA Biennial Exhibit. If one of the Plein Air painters could organize locations to paint at for 2026 that would be great! Please contact Leigh at leighmcdonald@zoominternet.net and let her know you are interested.
