I’m Marianne Henning, the watercolor artist, designer and illustrator behind Ivy Line Design. Born a city girl (from Columbus, O-H!), but raised in the hills of southeastern Ohio I feel just as at home in the woods as I do in a bustling city.
I often paint landscapes, architecture, animals and botanicals, with watercolor being my primary medium. I am often driven to paint that which I am curious about, and my enthusiasm for color, nature, and travel heavily influences my work. I aim to spark the same curiosity in others for subjects that are often overlooked, because I believe education and understanding influences us to appreciate the natural world.
